One of our clients asked us this question recently in regards to raising the height of he’s bathroom ceiling.
The local council allowed the roof to be raised by 450mm.
Taking into consideration the current ceiling depth and making sure we insulated correctly, we’ve removed the existing roof and will be installing a 3 layer felt system on top of new timber joists.
In conjunction with the work we’ve had to source bricks that would be a best colour match, arrange the ceiling to be plastered and also coordinate the electrician to install new lights and an extractor fan.
A deceiving amount of work for such a small roof but by keeping all of the work under one umbrella, the client has had one point of contact and we are able to have full control over the job which allows us to ensure each trade runs seamlessly one after the other.
