Dear Joe,
The scaffolders have just left and have now removed all the scaffolding. They were also very pleasant people, like everyone who has worked on this job.
Thank you for a very good job, thoroughly professional throughout. We really appreciate how well the job was done and the attention to detail. Every aspect of the job was good, from comprehensive quotes, everyone turning up on time (COVID and supply issues aside, but these were not within your control). All your staff were very professional, competent and as unobtrusive as possible, while also all being very likeable. It was also very good to see that health and safety were very important throughout. Thank you also for your regular reviews of how the work was progressing.
We have just paid your invoice, thank you and we are very happy to give reviews for your work. We have already recommended you to a neighbour and to another friend.
Hopefully this time the roof will be waterproof!

I recently engaged the team at GWS roofing to re-roof the flat roof of my house in Putney. The existing roof was fine but over 15 years old and the insulation minimal.
Joe Sparrowhawk and his team added a new layer of insulation and then finished with a new membrane and felt. The work was then sealed and new lead flashing installed. As the roof deck was now substantially higher than before the work included raising the height of two skylights and flashing these into the roof surface to ensure they were watertight. We noticed the difference in temperature in the house immediately. The team was professional and friendly . A scaffolding was installed so there was no need to enter the property for access. They just got on with it whether we were there or not.
I would highly recommend GWS Roofing to anyone looking to replace either the whole roof or simply to provide better insulation for an existing installation.
