When I first joined BNI Hammersmith I was optimistic to grow our family business but admittedly, slightly pessimistic about how worthwhile the commitment of weekly meetings would be.
We are encouraged to have 1-2-1’s and when your busy, these can be difficult to arrange, especially if you are not fully committed to the process.
I met with Jerry Shaw one day at he’s beautiful kitchen showroom in Barnes, not really understanding how someone who designs kitchens could help a roofing contractor.
18 months later we are still recieving enquires from a contact Jerry passed me that day and this week had a pre start site meeting on a 200m2 flat roof replacement in Holloway, N7 from that same referral.
